Though the temple is very famous all over Kerala, there is no major festival. The only festival, if it is a festival, is on Karthika day of Malayalam month Vrichikam (November-December). Can anyone pls advise on the train routes when coming from Chennai? Which is the nearest station and how to reach the temple from there? Also, how to reach the temple from Guruvayoor?

Also, how to reach the temple from Guruvayoor? Many thanks Deepa The temple is located 3 kilometers from Vettichira, which is on the Kozhikode-Thrissur highway. The place is on the way to Tirur. You better reach Palakkad railway station, then pick a bus to Pattambi/Ottapalam. There are frequent buses to this destination from Pattambi.
