The Indo-US Nuclear deal is really taken too seriously by the left parties. The CPM, which formally announced its decision to withdraw support to the government if it goes ahead with the nuclear deal, insisted that by-passing the UPA-Left committee on the deal would be a violation of understanding between the Left parties and the UPA government. Is this fair?
