MAKEUP:

11. Best Mineral Foundation: Bare Escentuals Bare MIneral SPF 15 Foundation
Mineral makeups tend to be less irritating than conventional ones. "Brush it on lightly, or apply more for full coverage," says makeup artist Hillary Clark, whose clients include Teri Hatcher.

12. Editor's Pick: Prescriptives Site Unseen Concealer
Under-eye concealer usually involves a trade-off: good coverage, chalky finish—or mediocre coverage, nice finish. This one solves the cover-up conundrum and contains SPF 15.

13. Best Undereye Concealer: Cle de Peau Correcteur Visage
“If I were stranded on a desert island, this is the only makeup I would take with me,” says L.A. makeup artist Lizbeth Williamson, who uses it on Mary-Louise Parker. “It moisturizes and gives flawless coverage.

14. Best Cream Blush: Stila Convertible Color
It's super-versatile: "This is one of those all-you-need kind of products," says L.A. makeup artist Troy Jensen.

15. Best Bronzer: Guerlain Terracotta
This consistent favorite keeps your face looking subtly sun-kissed rather than overly baked.

16. Best Inexpensive Powder Blush: L'oreal True Match
"These 12 long-lasting shades are velvety, so you look like you are naturally blushing," says L.A. makeup artist Terri Apanasewicz, whose clients include Cindy Crawford.

17. Editor's Pick: Clinique Up-Lighting Liquid Illuminator
You can use this sheer liquid for a wash of shimmery color on cheeks or to highlight your brow bones, but we really love it on the décolleté.

18. Best Powder Blush: Nars
"I like it on everyone I work with, including Uma Thurman and Felicity Huffman," says N.Y.C. makeup artist Gita Bass of this blush.

19. Best Luminizer: Stila Liquid Luminizer
Experts use this shimmering liquid in several ways: Some mix a squirt with foundation for a barely there sheen, while others dab it directly onto cheekbones as a highlighter.

20. Best Long Wearing Lip Color: MAC Pro Longwear
A favorite of makeup artists, this color-and-gloss combo is “very kissable!” adds L.A. makeup artist Lizbeth Williamson.

Best product to restore frizz (hair)?
i would really want something i can carry along with me throughout the day, mainly for especial occasions, my hair is straight as it is but recently i went to a cookout my hair started off straight and i guess among trees, humidity, and whatnot I had frizz all over the place,

I've been researching and mostly what i find is to use after shampooing I would like something i can have with me for those occasions in which i just need a "touch-up"

any suggestions...?

PS: I don't trust pantene so please dont suggest it...

You can either choose:
Citre Shine Mist Spray Laminator -Pros love this inexpensive spray as a final touch on any hair type; it adds a weightless shine to straight and curly hair alike.
John Frieda Frizz-Ease Serum.
This longtime favorite “does a great job smoothing out the cuticle and eliminating frizz,” says L.A. stylist Sean James, who also applauds its price and accessibility.
These two products are winners of the Instyle Beauty Awards 2008.

If you are not comfortable wearing a concealer, try using eye creams that combat puffiness and dark circles. Look for one with Vit. K and C. Try the Best Eye Cream for Puffiness and Dark Circle: Prescriptives Vibrant-C Skin Brightening Eye Cream. This product is a winner in the Instyle Beauty Awards 2008 so I guess you must try it to see if it works. Try also to sleep early and drink plenty of water. Home treatments such as placing cold cucumber or teabags on your eyes may also refresh them. smile.gif

Try the following:
L'Oreal Professional Colorist Collection: Available in 12 shades, these shampoos contain apricot kernel oil. "The shampoos for blondes eliminate brassy tones and give a more vibrant blond hue," says L.A. stylist John Francis, who has tried them on Trudie Styler and Sting.

Best Overall Shampoo and Conditioner: Kerastase or Kerastase Chroma Reflect for color treated hair.
Stylists consider this brand the creme de la creme of shampoos and conditioners—and worth every penny of their top-of-the-line prices.

Best Shampoo and Conditioner for Color-Treated Hair: Redken Color Extend
N.Y.C. stylist Sam Leonardi loves the sophisticated components of these products: ceramides to strengthen color treated hair, silicone conditioners to coat the cuticle, and UV filters to defend against the sun.

These are all winners of the Instyle Best Beauty Buys 2008, so I suppose they are some of the best products available in the market today.

Covering your undereye circles and freckles can help. Try using Laura Mercier Secret Comouflage. Winner of the InStyle Best Beauty Buy Awards as best concealer. Try also to get more sleep and use an eye cream for your eyebags. For your freckles, don't expose yourself to too much sun and use sunblock to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays that may cause your freckles to be more visible. smile.gif

I would say Maybelline Mascarra. It is inexpensive but it can rival high end brands and does the job pretty well. Most make-up artist depend on Maybelline when it comes to mascara. It is also a winner in the InStyle Best Beauty Buys Awards 2008. You dont need to spend a great amount of money on mascaras, invest it in a good foundation instead.
