QUOTE (Lolaluv333) When we speak of phobia, we are actually pertaining to fear, which isn't just any kind of fear but a severe one. Although it is normal for kids to be afraid of certain things, phobia however is a worst case for them to deal with. This is a different case simply because of getting an extremely strong fear towards an event or thing. It doesn't just go away when you say so. Oftentimes, people who are suffering from phobia would try to evade from encountering a thing or event that scares them. Phobias are of various kinds. Here's a list of some phobias that are usually present to most individuals: 1. Social Phobia This is the most common kind of social phobia that can be distinguished when a person is scared of public embarrassment. 2. Agoraphobia This kind of phobia makes the person suffering from it strongly panic whenever they are in a crowd, highways or even in a busy crowded store. 3. Claustrophobia This kind of phobia is a fear of being locked in an enclosed space, such as a tunnel, airplane, or elevator. 4. Arachnophobia This kind of phobia makes the person be afraid of spiders. 5. Ablutophobia This kind of phobia, on the other hand, is bit odd and funny because the person who suffers from this fear is afraid of washing himself/herself or even when taking a bath or shower. -------------------- If you have the courage to try and the faith to believe, there's nothing in life that is hard to achieve.
